So this is what being focused feels like. I have a sense of longing yet an overwhelming sense of fulfillment overshadowing all other thought at the present time. Some dreams are in the process of becoming realized, and others don't seem so unobtainable at the moment. I am beginning to understand the concept of muse as a motivator; a muse is something that one writes to that is absent. Shakespeare's subject of the Young Man as the impetus of the majority of his sonnets is my example; Billy-boy is writing to someone in order to impress even though nothing meaningful other than approval might ever be gained. Now that I believe that I have uncovered the nature of this force, the question that continues to face me is where does this force manifest that I can utilize it to its fullest.
Where is this profound need to strive for self-actualization coming from? A month ago I wouldn't have acted upon my impulse to meet these desires, and now I am even motivated enough to write in this archaic form of social media. Society has always infuriated/confounded/inspired me, and now I am progressing through this array of emotions in relation to myself. Now is the time for inspiration, grasp it when it has fully come upon me, hold tight, don't let go, pray to whatever deity that I don't let go.
